I only know God because he reveals himself to me.  It is awesome to think about a God who holds the sun in place but chooses to whisper in my ear and interupt with me with His Presence! 

God is always working around me.  And God invites me to join Him in that work.  I'll tell you more about that in the message this Sunday.  Meanwhile, do you want to join God in His great work?  Here's a shortcut to do it. 

Two steps. 

1.  Look for a need. 

2.  Meet the need. 

Look for a need.  Look for a single mother, an unemployed father, an elderly person who cannot leave their home, a Meals on Wheels program, a forgotten veteran, an addict, an inmate, a rebellious teen, a sick person, a stressed out stay-at-home mom, a couple filing for divorce.   Anyone come to mind? 

Meet their need.  How?  Ask God "how can I meet their need?"  Then, do what God whispers in your ear.  Two cautions as you serve them.  First, you meeting their need not their want.  Second, they may not want your help and they make not thank you.  But God will be pleased and blessed by your action. 

Take a walk around your block today or around your workplace and pray:  "God show me a need and help me to meet it in Your Name, Amen."
